Hang in there! Help is on the way...Please peruse my site, then give me a call so we can chat about your specific situation and how I may help. A little about me: I have been counseling families of the Central Coast, San Luis Obispo County area for over 10 years. I specialize in helping women, teens, and girls overcome anxiety, depression, body image issues, trauma, sexual abuse, and relationship problems. My skills-based approach teaches women, young and mature, how to heal from the past, enjoy the present, and take hold of their desired future. In each therapy session, I use a combination of approaches to best fit the personality, strengths, and goals of my client. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we draw, and often we do exercises that strengthen the mind and build resiliency for the rest of your week.
Located in Downtown SLO, near the High School and Cal Poly University. Also located in Downtown Atascadero, near the Middle School.
I look forward to meeting you. Contact me to schedule an appointment today.

I love inspiring others through the power of well-informed workshops! Current workshops offered are:

On demand speeches on a variety of topics related to the psychology field. Contact me for details.
Do I see men, boys, or couples?
Yes. Although the majority of my clients are young females, I do see children, families, and couples.
Do you do therapy over the phone?
While face-to-face therapy is often ideal, it is not for everyone. If you reside in California and do not otherwise have access to a qualified therapist, my services are available to you via phone or internet. Give me a call and together we can make appropriate arrangements.
How long does therapy take?
It depends on the depth of the problem. Most folks see me weekly at first, then transition to every other week after a few months, and eventually phase out. Sometimes a booster session is needed to maintain progress a few months after ending regular therapy. As life changes and stress levels increase, an occasional check-in can get you back on track.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance, which enables me to provide the most confidential treatment, avoid a lot of paperwork, and have more time to focus on you. By not using insurance, we are also able to focus on your unique situation rather than attach a label that may be shaming or not quite fitting. If you choose to use your insurance, you will be provided a super bill to submit to your insurance. You are responsible for coordinating reimbursements with your insurance.
